EQ Media’s one-hour documentary on Mary Poppins’ creator Pamela Travers has been nominated for a BANFF Rockie Award in the history/biography category.
The Real Mary Poppins – available in Australia & NZ on DVD, Blu-ray and online – reveals the fascinating story behind the creation of one of the most popular characters in children’s fiction and film, Mary Poppins. Pamela’s story also forms the premise for Hollywood film Saving Mr Banks, starring Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson, also produced by EQ Media and other companies for Disney.
BANFF World Media Festival takes place June 8-11, 2014 in the resort mountain town of Banff, in the Canadian Rockies.
